In the ongoing traditions of Hispanic cultures. People gather with their families to attach explosives to sledge hammers and hit metal plates. Oh what fun, especially when the little guy puts to much on his hammer.

This is an annual celebration that takes place in Chiapas, Mexico where they set off explosives with hammers. The celebration is hosted by the Zapatista Army, a revolutionary group that has been non-violent since 1994. The reasons behind the celebration are vague, but it's apparently fun as fuck and dangerous (several people are injured each year).
