PLEASE READ

This can be veiwed as a tutorial for gradient shading if you keep the annotations.

Me practicing my gradient shading on Kavorkier.

This isn't my character, it is one of my friend's. She is an incredible writer, and is writing a novel called The Hasparoon Archives. This is one of the characters from her novel, Kavor.

If you want to see a preview of her novel, please visit her deviantART:

I warn you, though; her art and writing is bloody. Bloody happens to be my thing, but if you;re not into that sort of stuff, don't blame me if you don't like it. =/

  • you have a deviantart account too?

  • Yup, the link's in the video description.

  • how do you erase the outlines of the red?

  • You put it on a separate layer from everything else.

  • sorry for asking but, every detailed picture i do is too BIG too put into deviant art, then i go resize them and they're still too 'big' is there something i'm doing wrong????

  • Well, exactly how big is your usual detailed picture, and what format are you using?
