@intermediator The motor that runs the zoom makes noise as it is located near the microphone. With a cheap digital zoom this would not be an issue but with an optical zoom lens run by an electric motor this creates a problem. An aux mic would rock. Try to limit the zooming while taking videos, zoom when sound is not an issue or pause recording while zooming. You can always do a little editing and dubbing, be creative. Samsung's high end cameras rock and are on the move, watch out Cannon.

I love the Samsung NV series. The functionality and quality are unbeatable in this price range. I've had Sony cameras with higher resolutions that cannot come close to the clarity of the Samsungs photos. My brother bought a Cannon DSLR which he has put nearly $2000 into. He takes thousands of photos a year. I believe my NV40 and NV11 take photos that are so close in quality to the Cannon DSLR that most people could never tell the difference. Samsung will soon be the leader in digital cams.

it really is an amazing camera!!! i got it recently and its awesome, im gonna start putting up videos with it once i get ideas but soon ill get it... and the buttons are freakin awsome once you get the hang of it!!!!!

...I have heard that there is an agreement between the leading companies not to allow ideal products , which will conquer the market.We will see if this is true if the problem appears again in the next model - Samsung TL34 HD

There is a major problem with that Samsung NV24 HD camera. When you are recording a video while uzing the zoom the sound disappears periodically whenever you change the focus distance.I dont know why they ( Samsung company ) let this major problem. Maybe it is because otherwise that camera will be the best of its class.
