This video was taken on the night of June 10th. 2008 after a strong thunderstorm moved through Bergen County, NJ.

I am a distributor for Eflare beacons all over the United States and keep units in my vehicle in the event of an emergency while driving.

I was driving on Summit Ave. in Hackensack, NJ when I saw a downed tree limb with some strike flares near it. Knowing that the strike flares would burn out shortly, I deployed a set of 4 Eflare HZ510R L.E.D. traffic safety beacons to warn motorists of the danger in the road and divert them around it. The strike flares burned out after 20 minutes and the Eflares kept marking out the danger in the roadway.
