Does your Mother get the Retro channel or MeTv? They show TV from the 50's to the 70's--lots of classics like Daniel Boone, Gunsmoke, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, etc. Great old stuff from the days when TV was "cleaner"! Also--lots of old and new TV episodes available for free on the internet, especially PBS. I'm thinking of "Larkrise to Candleford" (English Countryside life in 1890's.) Happy visiting!
