what about the hinge shield

Check out the OnGARD security door brace on youtube. Incredibly well constructed.

I hope you guys had to only try this once because this is a costly experiment lol. Anyway I am curious what type of steel you are using. Is this galvanized or something else?

Solid steel? I think its more like galvanized steel correct? as you can clearly see this guy wont bend his knee to impact a full kick, im glad i bought Steel Door Armor instead...Strike master II is a great product also.

I would like to believe this but it is not obvious that you applied the same force to both jams. The guy who "put" his shoulder into it did so with the effort if a man trying NOT to break something. I hope that your product is legit but from this video a person is unable to speak to the viability of your jam system. However, I would guess that a jam sheathed in sheet metal would be stronger than a regular wood system.

You are correct, it doesn't look like there is much force going into the door, but that is because nothing is moving. I wish we could show a way that the wall was flexing, but we really can't.
The Door Jam Armor is actually solid steel and makes the door jam a part of the framing of the wall / house.

Yes it will. Watch our demonstration video. It uniforms the frame with the door.

Maybe it does work & I hope it does. Only problem is that there is no one showing that it works with a standard install? Over $200 looks a little expensive, we spent $200 and that included a new door, Door Jam Armor, and new Locks.

can it with stand what this lock can Ultimate Lock?

The lock can't hold anything if the door jam is broke. Ultimate Lock looks GREAT, but you put that on a standard door and it will not stop anything.
