Diggin History #87 - Vintage tokens in the woods ~ No metal detector required!

Well my plan was to go out to the woods to do a bit of bottle hunting but I found more tokens than I did bottles, didn't even need my metal detector!!! I was able to clean them off a bit and see what they say:

Nice tokens TF! You just never know what lies under the surface. You're right about being too hot. Dang! it's been 98 here for the past 3 days with more hot weather coming. I usually do my research during the hot summer months anyway. Try skin-so-soft from avon. It works really well here for skeeters and deer flies. I hate those SOB's! LOL.

Man you got more moxy than me...I went out in the woods today after the rains stopped and I got about 35 feet into the woods and got chased out of there like a "peeping tom" at a nudist camp. I'm going to try and give it a go again tomorrow...Just so we are crystal im talking about metal detecting in the woods not peeping in on a nudist camp hahah!!!

Skin So Soft and Rubbing Alcohol is used at 50/50 mix to combat even sand fleas at USMCRD Parris Island .... should work for woods critters. Railroad tokens are more collectible than some think ... guys want the line that Grandpa used to work for, ect.

Like the tokens and the stopper is way cool. Mosquitoes are getting bad too, sprayed heavy the other day and still got naile I think they thought the Off was just Barbeque Sauce!!
