Muse - Assassin (Drum Cover)

1) YES I'm still in my pajamas.
2) NO I haven't showered yet.
3) OMG don't look at my hair... -_-

Here's me playing Assassin by Muse at 11am! Some improv, some light mistakes, a lot of laziness, and about six attempts. =P

~ IYNTK ~
1 ~ IYNTK stands for Info You Need To Know :)
2 ~ I use two mics; one on the left by the hi-hat and snare, and one on the right by the floor tom and right rack tom (you can see it actually...rofl)
3 ~ One mic is a Rock Band mic; the other is a Guitar Hero mic. I'm cheap, what can I say? :)
4 ~ The mics are both connected to a signal booster which then connects to my computer (all USB connections).
5 ~ Only three tracks used to make the audio: right mic, left mic, and a drum backing track version of Assassin. Therefore, all drums you are hearing is moi.
6 ~ Assassin is one of my favourite Muse songs, and one of my first self-taught songs. I've been playing for maybe two years now, and plan on playing for life!
7 ~ My set is a Westbury set...I'm not sure how old it is because I bought it used lol. However, I will most likely be getting a new hi-hat (thank God) and possibly a crash cymbal this Christmas, as well as new drum heads!
7 ~ It took me about 10 minutes to edit the audio, so don't be mean please. :)

@AllAroundGamingClips yes. lmao. the other cymbals are starter, n sabian was free. i just bought a Sabian AAX set though so im happy :D

it's a great cover man, but as a tip since every drummer always wants to get better, watch leperm's cover, you could may learn something from him :P

@Sirrpelus thanks lol :P i saw his cover a year ago actually, when i first discovered the song and instantly wanted to learn it, but only got to doing a cover now.

however, this isnt a really good one, in fact, its only one take and i definitely can see now that i didnt play as smooth as possible hahaha. :)

I have no idea why this cover has so many dislikes... A part from your "not so cool" drumkit, you're actually a decent drummer! (I assume that you haven't been playing very long) Good job! Keep playing and keep rocking.
