I woke up the next morning with a note on the coffee table. It said-

Had to head back to L.A.

I sighed, crumpled the note up, and tossed it. Of course she had to leave. Ugh, I headed upstairs and got changed. I poured myself some cereal and checked my phone. It said I had one new text, from Marti (MARTIS TEXT)

NICK! WTH?! Do you have any idea how Lucy is? NO?! OF COURSE NOT! UGH! Lucy wants you here now. If I was her I wouldnt want anything to do with you, but she is still counting on you. Get over here when you get this. Its 9:30 am. Hurry.

I looked over at the clock and it said 12:24. Oh god. I ran out the door, past a sleepy Joe, and to Lucys house. I busted through the door because it was open and into her room. There she was, asleep on her bed looking like an angel. I sighed and lied down next to her. I pushed the hair out of her face and smiled. She really was beautiful. Taylor walked in and sighed when she saw me.

"Do you even know what happened?" Tay asked disapprovingly.

"No." I said looking away from her gaze, too ashamed to look her straight in the eyes.

"Adam almost raped her. So while you were making the princess happy and being with her, Lucy almost broke her promise involuntarily." Tay said and I could feel her looking at me. "And you know what else? Lucy is leaving. She said she cant live like this, having to see Adam at school every day. "

My head started spinning. Where was she going to go?! Then I remembered. Her moms vacation home in LA. Thank God. We have to move back to LA pretty soon to start shooting JONAS again! YES! I smiled and looked at Lucy, things were gonna be ok.
