(Gadsden, AL - May 28, 2010) Haileigh Elizabeth Boland (26, Boaz, AL) and her father, Benny Gene Boland (50, Boaz, AL) were arrested and charged with one count of first degree criminal mischief by the Etowah County Sheriff's office. The couple allegedly poured gasoline on a vehicle at the home of an individual who had repossessed Haileigh's vehicle earlier.

This video, provided by the Etowah County Sheriff's Office to various media outlets throughout Alabama. I posted it first on YouTube, and was posting links to it all over the place for about five hours, until the NYT Regional-owned Gadsden Times posted it, and then claimed that THEY owned the copyright to the video - thereby BLOCKING my video for a period of about five hours until I could figure out how to contest NYT's copyright claim.

I don't know about you... but I'm just about TIRED of the NYT Regional group being in Gadsden... we need another owner for that paper (I like the staff).

This is the video that Gadaden Times tried to block... claimed that THEY owned the copyright to the video provided by the Etowah County Sheriff's Office... NICE!!!
