Their are a few good country singers today, but none can compare with the ledgends . most of them sang and wrote from true life experiances. most young folks today cannot even begin to fathom the hard times people lived thru years ago!  also to make it back then you had to have a great voice ,no fancy computers to doctor it up for you!

Thank you so much for posting this song. I grew up listening to this entire album - & know all the words to this song. It's a hard match w/Skeeter: her songs vs. her own story - both have held my interest - - & earned my admiration. I'm glad you posted this # - brings back great memories. Again - my thanks!!
