  • I too have this. Advil works wonders for me. It's night and day for managing the pain. I write this at 6am because I woke from the intense pain. Also just started on antibiotics. Hope this goes away soon. Now I know why my dentist suggested I remove my wisdom teeth even tho I had no issues. This probably hurts just as much if not more then the surgery.

  • Well this sucks.. First off did not see the dentist yet since the pain started on Th and now its Sunday after doing alot of research pretty sure this is what I have. Been taking 800mg of advil every day 400mg when I wake up then 400mg at night chase it down with milk not good if you take them on empty stomach. Since we are dealing with a bacteria infection it is very important that after anything you eat you rinse with hot salt water and if you have a big meal you brush after and do the rinse

  • If you apply banking soda directly to the site of the Pericoronitis, it would provide almost instant relief

  • Keep rinsing with warm salty water and mouthwash. Then convince your pharmacist to sell you some 'NUROFEN PLUS', It took the pain away in about 15min and kept it painless for about 2 hours. I just took more pills as needed. Eventually went away.
