Actually that's a good idea to unravel the twists as you go that way you won't make a mistake and cut the same twist twice.

Great Tutorial! Looks like you did a good job with dusting. You have a lot of patience, I usually just grab a couple of twists and snip across, not do it individually. I probably need to do it your way, I just hate trimming my hair not because of the trimming but just the time it takes to do it, lol.

Dusting is less than trimming, I'm answering my own question here but when I "trim" I cut off about as much as you do here dusting! I don't want to even know what a trim looks like :/

@Weewinkle7 loll yea it depends for everyone...I know hairdressers that think that dusting means cutting 2 inches off :S
