@mntm8winner It may have been an act towards the end, but it was definitely not an act in the beginning. While, yes, she was acting as "Hannah Montana," you could tell during her auditions and in video clips of beforehand that she was a clean, respectable & a genuinely good role model. Like everyone else, however, she got sucked into Hollywood and "the new Miley" came out as a result. Most people would argue that she just "grew up" but there is a difference between growing up and becoming dirty.

I miss this so much! I used to look up to Miley so much. Now she's just changed so much. It's like she's been lying to her fans for the past 5 years about who she really is. I still like her and support her, but she just doesn't seem the same anymore. She used to be so happy and clean and loving of her fans, and now everything she does is so dark. Why must Hollywood ruin everything good?
