i agree that it was pretty fast but the ram it uses pisses me off. doesnt look like i will ever boing using IE XD

I use IE6 on my parent's computer because they won't let me install Firefox and I hate IE7's UI. But on my computer (which I usually use) I use Firefox 3.

I found IE8 to be pretty fast, the only problem is it uses way too much RAM at the moment, hopefully they'll fix it in Beta 2.

I think you might have a very common problem .ADD. Attention Deficit Disorder ... err...or just being human. Some ppl can't focus on one thing on one particular time. I also have that problems. I suggest while watching long videos, do something else & you just let yourself hear it. Something will definitely catch your attention & you can switch to watching. Put full volume by the way.
