This was a little more difficult to compose than my previous works, except that there is no lip syncing required since I used an instrumental number. The cut scenes sometimes come fast and furious, but that's because most of Raye's/Rei's good footage usually only happens for a second or two.
If you notice, the slower part of the music involves Raye/Rei. When the guitar picks up the tempo, it switches to Mars. When the choir swells in with "Fire on High", the fire effects blast out.
I opted for this song because there wasn't anything else I could find that suited Raye/Rei. I thought that less (vocals) was more at this point, and decided that I could drive the video in editing instead of the song dictating the footage.
This is one in the first series of Sailor Moon videos I did back when I only had two seasons of footage taped off of the television to work with. Armed only with an entry-level consumer editing program, a vcr and a capture card, I started a series of Sailor Moon videos in RealMovie format. The years have passed and they look their age.
