@saintrith Agreed! I liked "Walking..." but after seeing this stop-motion again after so many years, I definitely like the look of the old school animation much better. It doesn't look quite as "cartoon-y" as much of the CG.
@mooveetraylaguy yeah, but Walking With Dinosaurs was lame. The stop-motion animation in "Dinosaur" far surpasses the CG used in "Walking With Dinosaurs." The overall tone of Dinosaur is a lot less sensational too, which I like. Seriously I don't know why everyone is so crazy about using CG these days --it never really captures that realistic "3-D feel" of clay/puppets/props, etc. that actually exist in real space.
@saintrith My point was, this documentary seems to jump all over the place. And both stop motion and CGI take lots of time and effort, so why can't they both be good. Everyone thinks that one is good and the other is bad, but, when done right, both can be good.
