Ornette Coleman "Tears Inside" brought the sensation to Ornette's mind of "wanting to cry, but the human emotion wouldn't release the tears". D flat is its tonal center and it's played in a 12-bar blues form with altered changes. Don Cherry adds: "It's an old folk-type blues in the Jesse Fuller vein".
