Josh Freese is an amazing drummer. So very versatile. He not only has strong technique but becomes the soul of the music and makes the rhythm come alive, what a talent...fantastic.

Josh Freese is a great drummer. I'd have to talk to barker to really know how good he is, but from what I've heard of both drummers, Freese is a million times better, and also has better taste. The Vandals are one of my favorite punk bands ever and It would make no difference to me if all existence of blink 182 was erased from existence.

@jrquilty i used to think that danney was better then josh because he was constantly making use of strange time signatures and intregrating fills into his beats, but just recently i have seen some footage of josh drumming which astounds, hes achieved so much in his life hes pretty badass

it s so lame to blame travis barker. He may not be the best drummer in the world but still he is respectable, and he can play pretty well and fast !

Yea, I saw NIN with Ilan Rubin, but I totally prefer Josh Freese - he's a congenial workaholic with an amazing style.

I think the "who's best?" argument becomes pointless - Brain and Freese might not be "THE best" but they have excellent taste

Josh has a cool technique called "multiple genre drummer" He is mostly a punk rock type drummer that is known for changes styles up and making Travis Barker look like shit which isn't hard lol. He a cool alt. hard rock style he played in APC then just used his technique from Devo and APC to make an amazing electronic/industrial rock style for NIN and he has that weird time signature changes that NIN has used in some songs and APC too. The new NIN drummer on the 2009 tour is real good too

Josh Freese is just a real good drummer, hes played live with lots of bands and filled in as a studio drummer for tons of different bands...no one is saying hes like the best and thats not what I am trying to sell ya lol. he is just one of those drummers that pretty much gets shit done. The best would be my idol Danny Carey of Tool.
