They're so fascinating, yet mean and protective.

I love living in Canada and seeing so much wildlife and so much city and the same time, It's the best place on earth!

One thing these bears can do is be used to determine the health of the forest. They are a recessive gene of the black bear. Black bears are very forest dependent, and being dependent on the forest, they can be used to let us know about water availability and fish runs. The recessive gene that they have makes them white, to better hunt for anadromous fish, than an imposing black shadow. So all wildlife have a purpose, including the spirit bear.

the only way to keep bears on this planet is to make a law preventing the hunt of bears every year.

bears are amazing animals! I really wished i lived in Canada so that I could see bears all the time! I plan to someday go to Canada, but not yet, because i am to young :(
