Official Guinness World Record Attempt - Fastest speed on a water chute

The record hunt continues.
The six times German slide champion and world record owner in high-speed water chuting and 24 hours distance water slide riding (single & team), Jens Scherer (29) from Liptingen, Germany prepares for a further, ambitious project.
On Monday 25th of May 2009, he will try, using Europe's highest body water chute, the 32 meters high "The Stukas" in the waterpark AquaParadise of the Canevaworld Resort in Lazise at the Garda Lake in Italy to set the fastest speed, a human has ever reached on a water chute as a new official Guinness World Record.
The top speed is measured by a b-sys high-tech light barrier measurement system in the maximum speed-significant zone of the chute.
World ranking:
#1: Jens Scherer - 67.27 km/h (09.08.2008)
#2: Felix Loch, luge World champion - 65.61 km/h (09.08.2008)
#3: Eugen Forschner, streetluge European champion 64.00 km/h (09.08.2008)

Vmax 80 km/h... The fastest speed on a waterchute was 91,34 km/h
at 4th of May 2009 on the 49,9m high "Kilimanjaro" in Águas Quentes
