  • Very irresponsible reporting. What you've told people is that a "doppler indicated" tornado is okay and they're safe because there's not one reported. That's not true. Sometimes at night you will not get reports of a touchdown until the damage is done.

  • most def. he should not have said that

radar indecated tornado often become a tornado.

  • TOO MANY MEMORIES!!! I was only 7 when it hit Hendersonville,NC.But....I still remember every single second of that day D:! I remember watching the storm outside and hearing a loud "KA-POP!!!" and next thing I know a cluster of shingles from the roof of my house just flew off in a swarm like a swarm of bees covered in mist,And I was all like O_O" lol

  • @Pyrotech56 SO TRUE.

When I am on air (for my website), I always say take your tornado safety actions....especially at night.

WE CANNOT TELL AT NIGHT UNTIL DAMAGE REPORTS COME IN!

  • *it really can be

  • yeah i really can be. i remember this hurricane coming through. lol. i was younger then

  • we had a tornado hit a church in Lake Wylie from this storm. There were people praying inside the church when the doors flew open. A few trees were uprooted and a car was flipped over.

  • dang im going to north carolina in hurricane season thats bad

  • I live in California (I know, not exactly Tornado Alley, but anyway) and most of tornado warnings come from Doppler indicated tornadoes that dont hit the ground
