Do you remember Spudnut Shop, A&W Drive-Inn, Burger Baron, Hamburger Inn/ Pizza Den, Taco John or OMS on Main St. The video isn't the best quality and is sort-of shakey but it gives you an idea of what you might have forgotten.

Thank you so much for this video, you have no idea what it means to me!!! I was born in Alamosa and graduated from AHS in 1982. To be able to see things as they were in '87 brings back so many wonderful memories for me, but at the same time it's kinda hard to watch! So many things in this video are gone now and some of the buildings the City of Alamosa has gotten rid of is such a shame. How things have changed! I hope you never delete this from YouTube, as I always come back to it! Jeff B.

@polylingue It does in the mountains surrounding our valley but not so much in Alamosa. But the winters are long.

@blueyes6474 - It has changed quite a bit but for the better. You'll like Adams, I went to college there and I loved it. Alamosa is a nice place to live.

Right after where OMS used to be, there's those buildings that were right after it. Last week they caught on fire. They say that a water heater started it.

wow! i havent been in over 15 years i used to go every summer to visit my grandfather in Manassa and would take trips to Alamosa, my brother went to Adam State and i remember the A&W as a kid, i actually kept a mug from there and i think my mom still has it that was about 35 yrs ago
