@gigFL4SHK because it was HAAAAAAAAAAAARD as hell. European gamers might find it impossible to play. I played a remake which has been slightly dimmed down, and it is NO CAKEWALK.
Still, a shame none of the SNES games made it to Europe.

I still do not understand why they didn't translate the Japan-exclusive FE games and put them on the VC outside of Japan. This is why region-locking is a bunch of crap.

There were two versions of it in FE3 as well. And FEDS, a remake of FE1 has it as well.
