  • Dammit, great clip from 'Piece Of Cake' which is/was a British television drama about the Battle of Britain, completely ruined by silly superstitious nonsense.

The sound of a Merlin engine is better than any music, so why spoil it?

Also, the irony is strong with this one, since it's science that allows Man to fly, not retarded bronze age myths.

In short: Fail. Have a nice day.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 once again im not trying to offend anybody but can you tell me how you witnessed the existence and power of god? question for you.... what about all the other gods? surely they couldn't have created all life? they cant all exist and if one doesn't then none of them do.

  • If the Civil Aviation Authority sees this clip they'll probably ground the pilot for dangerous flying under a bridge

  • Hard to believe that this amazing clip is ruined by all this bullshit hocus pocus and inane ranting.I thought there was a normal clip from the tv series with the amazing sound of the Merlin, not all this crud!

  • @TungstenKid I'm pretty sure that was Sir George Cayley.

  • Awesome verse and INCREDIBLE Spitfire flying!

  • if there was a God ,he would given me a real MK XVI spitfire.

    Greetings John from Holland

  • "They will soar on wings like eagles.."- Isaiah 40:31

  • If God didn't want humans to fly, he wouldn't have given them the knowledge of how to fly..:)

  • there was the germans on the bridge

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 Utter balderdash. Where is the evidence for the existance of a god? There is more than enough empirical data to demonstrate that physics works well enough without some treat spiritual magician benevolently guiding the process. I would be a fool to believe in what can not be reproduced or predicted by theory and I am no fool.
