Actually two front pair of Elka, Axis, or Fox shocks are mostly running about $1700- 1900 Dollars for just the front lol. Then you have to get the rear which is around a $1000. Ridiculous but, at least they fine tune them to match how you ride and your weight before you buy them which is a still a very expensive plus, then you have to get into the motor which is totally more work for racing.

i will say they are more physically demanding, but it takes more skill to ride a bike technique wise, for example i rode quads for a while and hitting the turns you just lean as hard as possible and gas it but leaning a bike into the turn without dumping it takes alot more practice
