My Red Ear Sliders

Random video clips of my red ear sliders - from the small tank to staying in the beautiful pond in our backyard.

I got my first pair of turtles in May 2005 and gradually got more since. I have a total of 9 turtles now, though in the video you see at most 7.

They used to stay in small tanks and as they grew bigger, I kept buying them a bigger tank until eventually, I couldn't find any big enough for their growth and numbers.

I had a grotto built in my backyard. Took 2 months to complete. This is where all of them are staying now. They have more room and a place to bask. They share their habitat with koi and gold fishes, fortunately they co-exist pretty well.

I feed them turtle pellets most of the time. Sometimes I feed them with vegetables and carrots too.
