music for nigerians

Ena eya mane me (Mother, send remittances to me....). A song about a hustler who goes to town and finds life very tough. So writes to the mother for periodic remittances with the hope that life will soon be okay, will settle down and repay the mother in kind. The first tune of the first album of the African Brothers Band. A fantastic piece for its smooth, and sizzling guitar instrumentation interspersed with good vocals...a truly evergreen tune

I enjoyed this music when I was in Nigeria years back....residing in Onitsha, what a memory... Now California. Sending my DAD old school Ghanaian highlife from USA would be interesting.
