  • You are going to be great dancer. this piece is hard... just work in your arms, Bournounville is kind of hard because the arms don't help you as much as in Petipa's variations, so work in have nicely steady arms and jump only with your legs/back strenght .. in Bournounville arms are more decorative than useful. Make your brissés en tournant more clearly finished and you are done.. hope to know of you in the future

  • Considering the variation you chose which is very difficult. You did a good job. Try to be more soft in your porte de bras and remember to show the step "in between" steps. There are so many moments in this variation where you can show a picture. Finish the steps before you go to the next one. All in all, very good.

  • smile please. and you'll be fine

  • On the first step try having your arms in forth your left arm high :) and dont stiffen up otherwise very nice :)

  • please do something about your hands/arms. please.

  • That will improve your turns. Otherwise, this is not an easy variation and you did fairly well with presentation and I congratulate you for that. Don't take my comments as negative, take them as an advice. Keep watching videos of your dances and look at what you should improve everytime you watch yourself. I've been taught in the Russian/Vaganova style ballet, so its not that easy i gotta say. Hope this helps!

  • The main thing you HAVE to work on is your 5th position because that is not a clean fifth. When you do grande jetes and land, your front foot is turned in. Also, you seem to do more of a arabesque rather than a attitude so bend your knee more. Also make sure your attitude derriere is in 90 degrees When you do coupes, the supporting foot is turned in and make sure the coupe look more cleaner. Lastly, make sure your en dedans turns are cleaner.keep your back straight and your foot above your knee.

  • That's one of the hardest variations you can do, and you did it well. The Bournonville style can sometimes translate into stiff arms; they must be held, not tensed. One of the previous posts referred to your feet and they're right; be careful not to sickle. The place to work on that is, of course, at the barre. Proper tendu technique, fully stretching the entire leg, placing it correctly and consistently, is the root of classical ballet.

You're a fine dancer; keep at it!

  • u were good! um... i dont know any corrections. bt enjoyed it

  • Nice work but your arms are so stiff, like crab claws. amazing legs though. when you go into the series of pose attitudes try to suspend them more :) great work
