Oh, I always wondered why log cabins were made with the roof seperated a little bit..enough to allow the light in. I didn't realize the cedar swelled in the winter to make it water proof. That was very interesting! Thank you for posting thes videos. I just subscribed to you! Have a nice day!

My only complaint would be a suggestion: please get a hand held light to show the inside better, it's VERY hard to see.

I love these style log cabins, i would have no problem living in something like this. Have you ever watched the Dick Proenneke film? He built a cabin in Alaska on Twin Lakes and stayed there by himself for decades. He filmed himself building his cabin and his life at the cabin. You should check it out, its a really nice film.
