Sorry but you are so wrong. Gekko is right about greed and that is why this particular phrase is so popular in educated circles.
By calling us rational people insane you only revealed how unintelligent you are.
If we weren't greedy we wouldn't ask money or any non-measurable profit for the services we provide.
If there ever was a truly altruistic humanbeing he starved to death when he met a fellow being.
