ich habe letzte Woche Gerrard Cross besucht....leider wurde ich ihre Villa abgerissen und für ein scheussliches Neubaugebiet ersetzt.
Aber Ihr Grab, sowie Ihres Mannes James Buckley(Stringer Davis) in Gerrard Cross ist gut erhalten....leider ohne Blumen....
sie war die Lieblingsschauspielerin Queen Elisabeth

i noticed alistair sim, norman wisdom and joyce grenfell in there too!! she was Agatha Christies 1st choice for miss marple, but she turned the role down as she thought she was too young! eventually went on to do these films (i think) maybe 10yrs later
