Ted from Everything Attachments.com demonstrates the Model 240 Disc Harrow using a Kubota Tractor. Disc Harrows utilize the 3 point hitch to break up freshly plowed ground to prepare for planting a garden.

  • Big fields, If you use a tiller you have to go slow to let the tiller eat the dirt up but with a disc harrow you can go faster and the discs just roll over the dirt and cut it up.

  • Why or when would I use a disc harrow instead of a tiller? I'm a city rat trying my hand at country life and wanting to learn about certain implements. Thanks for your kind guidance. Nice video series by the way. Very helpful.
