Hi I'm Elisa, The Gay Chef. Try this recipe for Chorizo Tapas, well it's not technically 'Chorizo Tapas' as they didn't have any in the supermarket, so I used Kabanos instead, but still it tastes great!
INGREDIENTS:
Chorizo (or Kabanos)
Olive oil
Red wine vinegar
1/2 Lemon
garlic
Fresh Chilli
Rock salt
Tinned tomatos
Fresh Basil
Pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese
Oregano
Wine
METHOD:
1. Add a tiny bit of olive oil and chopped chorizo/ Kabanos to a frying pan and cook until the skin starts to brown on the outside.
2. Add some red wine vinegar, stirring in for about 30 seconds
3. Squeeze in half of a lemon
4. Add the chopped garlic and chilli
5. Add a little rock salt
6. Add 1/4 of a tin of tinned tomatos (more if needed)
7. Add some fresh basil
8. Add a little pepper and dried oregano
9. Sprinkle in some parmesan and keep stirring
10. Pour in a dash of wine
11. Cook for about another minute and serve with some nice bread.
