  • Wow, that is the most real video on all of youtube. Thanks Bloggess for getting me here. I have a very small amount of experience in what Alice is going through.

All the love in the world for Alice.

  • @ALPENTALBC thank you

  • Thank you so much. My daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Bipolar Disorder at age 8. She is 11 now, and she struggles with anxiety, self-doubt, self-loathing manifests itself as rage-filled screaming fits, just general feelings of being bad and wrong (when she is the complete opposite of anything bad or wrong). She feels so alone in the world, so misunderstood. I intend to share this with her, because for her, knowing she is not alone helps her. My heart goes out to you all. We can so relate.<3

  • @seaspeace if this helped just one person feel a sense of support...I am truly happy. She will know one day that she helped others. I would love to know your daughters reaction! Thank you for your kind words

  • She's beautiful. And speaking from someone who struggles to stay fixed in a broken mind, you are doing so much to help her.

  • @thebloggess the past few days have been some of the most amazing. You have used your voice to help me use mine, only your is louder, which helps. I am overwhelmed with the comments from your readers..I knew that everyone who loves your stuff was awesome. I can not thank you enough. I hope that parents everywhere feel as though there is at least one mother who understands what they are going through.

  • Thank you for being a mother who doesn't tell her child that she just needs to cheer up. The part when it said, "her pain is real." Was both heartbreaking & uplifting. You acknowledge it is pain, even if it's not pain you understand. I hope someday Alice realises how amazing you are.

  • I'm 27 and have been dealing with bipolar for probably my entire life, although it went improperly diagnosed until I was in my late teens. I am finally living with it instead of suffering from it, although it took nearly 15 years to find a balance. My own mother left me to fend for myself and wade through my own pain because she couldn't deal with her own. It gives me so much hope to see how much you are working with and helping Alice, and she will be forever grateful to you for it. Thank you.

  • Alice, you radiate beauty. And, Mom, you do, too. I wish you all the very best in finding the peace that you are searching for. No matter what--Alice knows she is loved and cherished. There's no better gift to give to your child than that.

  • This is beautiful and so is Alice x

  • Please feel free to check out the Scrapbook Dvds I've created for NAMI=MN...click on my YouTube name luvjrny4ever, then go to my videos...Thanks!

  • A very beautiful video! It's great that Alice does not have to suffer alone. I hope Alice does find peace someday soon! @Alice's Mom: It's great that you are her advocate + that she doesn't have to suffer alone! And also great that she has a companion dog also!

  • I watched your video with tears rolling down my cheeks, because your pictures so eloquently showed the inner beauty and grace of Alice as she takes each day, moment by moment. Her strength comes from you, and when you need a little of that strength yourself, just remember all the people you have touched with Alice's story. Sending you both strength and love... and thanks to @thebloggess for letting me find this heart-touching gem in the first place.
