How To Draw An Eye

A drawing of an eye by values: This demo video shows in real time the development of an eye using values instead of lines. This type of process requires a complete understanding of the form. This means, that you must know how to draw. The values adjust in the beginning with the shadows then goes to the middle tones and reserving the highlights. This is a controlled process and only in appearance seems easy. Proportion and distance create the likeness.

Sr I can't belive you started with that tiny light spot in the eye insteed of planning the whole eye first. Amazing. And beautiful as your other videos.

If you are planning more videos, i would love to see something about illumination and tones in a drawing, or something about composing the figure very quikly. But is just a suggestion, it's what i find more difficult.
