i actually think the problem is the ease at which you can make your decision based off a gameplay video, back in the day games were so much funner because you didnt get to see the game in detail before you bought it, its like if a game isnt mainstream like cod then it wont get any attention because people arent talking about it, this is sad.

allso wtf is the allies, the solidiers, on the other side of the enemys he encounter? like how did they get past the aliens?

i dont like that this is so easy, i meen he just made the other guy look like the offcer and the aliens just '' oh there he is lets just ignore shilding our flank against the other guy cuz he is no officer so no danger there''

@22ndCatch Well, since we also get the Firaxis take on XCOM: Enemy Unknown, in the end everybody wins.

I don't get why people complain about this game not being similar enough to the original series. The Mario RPG's were a pretty huge departure from their source material and they were still pretty fun! When I look at this game, I see good shooter with clever RPG elements, some solid writing, and a Bioshock-esque level of historical depth and philosophical exploration. Just because it's not turn-based strategy doesn't mean it's bad.

A big charm that people doesn't seem to get about older games and ESPECIALLY the x-com games was that they were hard as nails, your troops was mostly slaughtered in those games. Health regen is a curse to modern games. The 1962's setting seems nice but the game looks somehow very far from the original and not apealing at all :( this has been a huge letdown. also, how can they use that titan technology emidiately after capturing it? Isn't that just silly? :S get more inspiration from rainbow six?
