He he, apologies. I am a licensed pilot, and I started doing it from the time I soloed. I think it "calmed me". I never do it in big airplanes, for you can't see forward. But anytime I am on something where you can see forward (whether controlling the landing or not), I think I revert.
I honestly did not realize I was doing it until I saw the video!
