Windows 8 looks to be designed more for the non-technical average user. The GUI is designed to compete with the likes of the i-pad and the android tablets. I think Microsoft has finally noticed that companies are winning with simple designs......this is nothing more than a shot at simplifying their product. The only problem is it doesnt appeal to us "technical" users. My advice? If you are a technical user, stick with XP or Windows 7.....and wait for Windows 9.
