The video shows the 21 charges that mythic charged my bank account, but what is even better is the $888,888.00 in fees that I am being hit by bank of America. Gotta love it. The beauty of this is that I was already in the process of leaving Bank of America, and none of my money were in those accounts. Others not so lucky. The corresponding story is below.

  • The -$888,888 isn't a fee; it's just what Bank of America uses to keep the account open while they investigate fraud, but ensure that no other charges will go through. They don't do it every time there's a fraudulent charge, but they did it to my accounts when someone printed up some forged checks with my account info. The bank rep clearly explained to me that it was just a flag, and I didn't *really* owe -$888,888.

  • @dahankitty Yeah I know when I called last night the claims department was closed. The reps I spoke with said it must be a fee error and they will fix it.

As for the Mythic charges it looks like that the bug was that your last payment was sent back in with the same authorization numbers and hit the bank accounts. Now I call it equal failure on the banks and Mythic. Sure Mythic screwed up by having the bug, but the Bank's fraud protection should have caught this.

  • yes a massive billing error by Mythic entertainment then my bank had a "fee error"

  • I heard someone's relative died because Mythic billed out all their bank deposits and the electricity bill wasn't able to autopay, and that someone in the house used a breathing apparatus and they died because it lost power.

  • I was lucky I had a one month re-occurring subscription. I was only billed 21x $14.95, or whatever it was. EA Mythic responded quickly, but I still pulled all of my billing info from their site and canceled. Albeit that info is probably sitting on the servers of the company that handles the transactions. Fun game, and I love the PvP model, but I love my money more.

  • hahaha holy shit

  • I must say.... Why so many people are so dumb? Everyone with bank account should have secure limits(day limit/week limit). For example: day limit for internet payments is 100 bucks. Day limit for whidraw from ATM is 1000 bucks. Is that hard?

  • And the next day EA sued everyone who had been overbilled because they were causing bad reputation for the company...seriously, it wouldn't suprise me at all.

I hope they get the shit sued out of them and I haven't even been effected by this.

  • I knew Warhammer was a terrible game, but damn... I feel sorry for the people who couldn't pay their bills this month because their accounts got overdrawn.

  • Wow, I weep for your credit score

  • I see their billing system is as bug free as their game...

  • Haha Creet, Man i told you to get the prepaid cards like me! Man i dont even trust my wife with my credit card...Seriously though. That crap sucks man ya really need to get it sorted out pronto. And also get a lawyer Get tripple what they "Mistakeingly" Took and then by Mythic and get me and the rest of the guild free game time lol
