Just the jump-off. These pros are really motoring around this course of 5 ft fences! Todd Minikus and his own speedy Pavarotti took top prize, followed by Pablo Barrios with Sinatra, and Margie Engle on Coraya Z. I like the way Unika swishes her tail like a propeller. The results are here: http://horseshowsonline.com/HSSNet/ClassResults.asp
That girl on the gray horse really needs to loosen up on the horses' head a little. I could see him tripping and getting nervous.
The others jumped much more beautifully.

...it's been a minute for me. Last one I saw in person was the 2007 American Invitational.
Margie was the first clean (on HC Quervo Gold) but Beezie won. I'm not a Beezie fan, but I LOVE Authentic.

Good stuff!
I miss a lot of the shows like Upperville, the AGA championship, Festival of Champions, and the American invitational... because ESPN no longer shows equestrian competitions like they used to back in the day. About the only places they can be caught now in my area are the Outdoor Living Network (which I don't get) and the occasional Spruce Meadows programming on Fox Sports. Sucks.
That said-- Todd won, but screw it, GO MARGIE!!
