Dr Reid Oliver's Story - ATWT - Part 54

Welcome to the one where Luke is a little bitch, Noah redeems himself slightly and Reid, well, he's just as damned awesome as ever.

I know I wrote a while back advising you to keep taking what you were taking as the story was plain awesome. Now I think maybe it might be a good time to lower the dose ....

Good lord what an episode! The writing wasn't amazing as they COULD have done it a bit more subtley but wow, it has unleased LuRe and Nuke monsters.

Being a long time Luke fan I am so excited about this. I couldn't hate him if I tried. He amuses me no end and frustrates me and that's why the fact that his spoiled "I can have everything I want" attitude is now flowing over into his relationship life. He's never had to choose before. He's never had to make sacrifices for love and he certainly has never been in a position like this. Reid is the first guy, other than Noah, to actually have him feeling all kinda of amazing things.... Luke wants his cake and he wants to eat it and SEEING him getting a big old bitch slap of reality was amazing for his character. It's been coming for a loooooooooong time and to SEE it happening was pretty spectacular! :D

Back onto our favourite doctor, can he get any more gorgeous?! Whispering such lovely things to Luke ... my god. Was a bit of bad continuation from the writers as Reid's not gone back to his more predatory confident self mid-kiss.....but I guess we can let it slide, Luke's hair folicles took quite an effect last time mid-kiss and so did the mood lighting...we can hardly blame Reid! ;) ;) haha!
As usual, you need to fan yourself after a few second of Luke and Reid being together!!

COME ON, raise your hands who else thought Richard MADE this episode?! HAHAHA! Oh man I laughed so much at the fact he said DUDE nevermind the SERIOUSLY inappropriate joke about Dr O being "hot". HAHA! So sad this is his last episode :( He was used and abused. I laughed out loud when Noah simply dismissed him in Yo's. HAHAHAHA! Richie WE SHALL MISS YOU! :(

The awkwardness. REALLY well played by Jake. I LIKED IT. Especially the Dr O and Noah moment. It was almost a challenge and Reid was obliviously adorable while Noah was giving him the death stare of jealously. Brilliant! :D

Luke...more evidence of your insanity sweetie. Heads up- NOT a good idea to invite your ex-blind-but-now-not-so-blind boyfriend for drinks with the dashing doctor of said ex boyfriend that you just finished sucking face with. In which universe is THAT a good idea?! This all said, Van Hansis looked devestatingly handsome today.

Gee Luke I'm sure Reid LOVED the fact you told him you had feelings for him then followed that up with a big kick in his teeth about being in love with Noah. Reid leaving was one of THE BEST things about this episode. God he's awesome.

Oh the Luke and Noah scene. Oh my. Jake killed it. I am so impressed with his acting in this storyline. Oh this was so hard to watch. Luke is SUCH a hypocrite here. Even his cute little looks and adorable ways were not enough .... he's one very very very confused guy. WAS NOT impressed with the lack of recognition of "Rooftop Luke" but it's his guilt and complete and utter confusion. Ooooo he's such a bitch today!! I'm so pleased Reid was out of there. I fear if he'd have heard Luke saying some of the things he was saying, his poor heart would have hurt a LOT.
Luke seemed so deparate at the end- all his own fault. I would NOT be impressed if Noah had been unhappy with things HAPPENING with Reid as that would have NOT been ok ... they're not together but it was Luke's lies. I am happy the writers did that as Noah was going way down in my estimations quite rapidly.

I was sitting with my fingers and toes crossed HOPING Reid would do what I expected him to do. This was the low point for Luke. He got ridiculous HERE. Reid looked hurt and that's not ok....
When Reid gave him full honesty and called him out on being a whiney brat then told him to GET OUT I was literally jumping up and down shouting "I LOVE YOU" ...
No way would Reid put up with that rubbish and that kind of childishness. Yea, he can be a bit petulant and jealous and he's confused himself but Luke was bang out of order and basically stamped right on Reid's feelings without ANY recognition of how Reid would feel etc.

SO much angst ... SO much drama ... the ensuing anarchy that was unleashed after this episode was insane! People are not happy right now ... I kinda enjoyed it in a weird way. I wanted Luke to get his realisation and MY GOD did he get it ....!

Now it's time for Luke to grow the hell up and accept the consequences of his actions. This week sounds like plenty more drama .... bring it on :D

God, why am I watching this? It's bad enough that I follow all the british soaps just for the gay storylines. But I hate american soaps! Can't fight the gay drama though, it always gets me inexplicably hooked!

Luke was running from his feelings for Reid here because Reid was the scary choice and he wanted something safe. Even NOah was wise enough to realize what he saw between Luke and Reid was powerful and that he would always be the safe/2nd choice! LuRe is the BEST......

Rewatching this part after knowing what happens, Luke saying 'not ever' really made me cringe a little...
