This song knocked me flat the first time I heard it. Idealistic yet it feels possible. Courageous yet you can sense the fear. This version's so joyful, it makes you want to quit your job, kiss your lover, jump in your car, hurtle down a long road and sing your heart out. I love the piano acoustic version too, because it allows you to appreciate the tenderness and poignancy of the lyrics. Either way though, this is one hell of a song.

Amen brother, i agree with everything you're saying.

And larryc2321, we know youre a closet bruce fan because you keep coming back, so just embrace this good rock n roll and quit whining about silly things just for attention.

of rock n' roll and hanging on her every word, when the President of the USA plays her on his Ipod, when she puts everything on the line to play in half empty bars and clubs, just for the love of the songs, maybe then, just maybe, I'll listen.

Sorry if this vitriolic rant has bored some of you, but surely I'm not the only one who's tired of autotuned brats and posers polluting the charts?

"The Wrestler", "Backstreets", "No Surrender"....as if I need to keep going. I wear it as badge of honour that I can't list Miley Cyrus' back catalogue. It's time that manufactured, plastic "artists" like Miley, churned out by some corporate machine crawled back to whatever hole they came from, to make way for authentic, honest talent like Springsteen. When Miley Cyrus stays up all night trying to write that perfect song, when has a stadium full of people believing in the redemptive power
