The size iilusion is ruined when it pans around, and you can see a player would be about the height of the Deflector dish.

Spacedock looks cool, almost aptmospheric with the light pollution.

Just a technical question. Why are the bussard collectors and the sides of the warp nacelles lit and the impulse drive running while in space dock?

@msbae: You have 3 different hull types in ST:O. One of them is the one which looks like that.
For the registry number and the ships name: This is just a stock (generic) Galaxy class. Normally you cannot do what you see in the video. So the naming would be useless.

You need to use the /demorecord feature in ST:O for that to work. After you have recorded let's say 1 minute in the ship requisition, you can play this recorded file with the sto client. Then you choose the free flight camera, and you can fly in the earth space dock or just do what I did: create a fantastic fly around. :)
