You've got 5 years on me, dude... at one time that seemed like a vast difference ;) I remember getting into them around the time Fragile came out, but I probably heard them w/o realizing it before then when my older brother was playing them on the stereo. "South Side of the Sky" totally blew me away; that synth sound was like nothing I'd ever heard. It came from wherever that place on the cover art was ;) Good times!

  • I feel extremely blessed. i got into YES in 1970 at 14 and saw them first in 72. it changed everything! musically. philosophically, Spiritually. They hit me on every level. YES I grew up with Jazz, Blues, Funk, Psychedelic, Funk, Classical ,etc but YES put all these things together in one & took even prog to new heights.

  • I absolutely agree w/ every word you said. they're the finest prog band to step into the scene. thank God it happened :D you're so lucky you've seen them often. such talented, dedicated musicians.

  • I absolutely agree w/ every word you said. they're the finest prog band to step into the scene. thank God it happened :D you're so lucky. you've seen them lots now. at least I saw them nov 14 and dec 3 last year. been dreaming about seeing them deliver themselves before me for the longest time, and it finally happened :D

  • you're so damn lucky. one of the severe disadvantages of being born so late. I missed them when they were rising dammit. thank God and my mom that I saw them nov 14 and dec 3 last year, at least. made my whole year for sure; I've been longing to see the members of Yes LIVE for the longest time. to think that I finally got to witness these severely talented individuals deliver themselves to us. I still can't believe it. hey what show was dec 2?

  • Damn Right!!!

  • AMEN

  • These 2 concerts are just magnificent. The DVD is a must.

  • It is Heart of the sunrise:)

  • I saw them on Dec 2 as well, simply awesome. I finally got to see Tempus Fugit and Machine Messiah live. Benoit did a good job staying true to the music, great voice! Would have never got to see TF and MM if Jon were with them on this tour, don't get me wrong, I would have liked it if Jon were there, but YES seems to always find talent to fill the empty slots. Long live YES!
