yet another real scene from this season. it's sad 2 think of but truth is it's not uncommon for those who've been abused/taken advantage of in any way to lose trust in people.
i'm sure there were lots of positive, well-intentioned adults who probably could've helped Mike in this situation. but he, understandably,has his guard up. so yeah, not at all surprised his distrusts those perceived as being 2 friendly. sad but real.
