How loud is this fan. I normally play wii games at night and my two dogs bark at anything that is particularly loud

There is the simple possibility that the normal fan has just gotten stuck for one reason or another. The ever so technical fix of moving it with a toothpick or similarly thin piece object can alleviate many issues.

@DChristopher619 yes if your Wii is connected to Wii Connect 24 it will keep it cool and the USB ports provide power in standby (yellow light on Wii console)

Iin someplaces there isn't much airflow to your system and it causes overheating. if that happens your wii's laser will burn out and you'll have to send it in for repairs. and thats expensive. trust me.

what's the point ? wii don't need a addon cooler , first xbox 360 do, but no other console do, well mayby they do if there is 60 degrees in the room
