As you could see by this video, we are having a problem with the engine light on our 1999 toyota. we spent two hundred dollars on the stupid oxygen sensor and guess what the transmission failed the next day!!!!!!! Wth where did that come from???? It wont shift properly into 1st gear and sometimes seccond gear and it wont go into 4th gear, tho it still does 80 no problem lol. So, we dont know what to do, we had just purchased a new car 1 month ago aqnd we got rid of the previous one do to tranny problems 2. My dad decided he is not going to replace his sienna, he is going to drive it into the ground untill the tranny fails completely and then we will buy another vehicle. It might be the 2012 Honda CRV or the 2013 Mazda CX-5. He said he wants another honda because he is so impressed with my moms 2011 Honda odyssey. Thanks for watching this video, please like it tho it has bad camera angles.

  • @hondaftw1234 Yeah, from the problems I heard you had with it, it seems as if it is a lemon, lol, but I still love this generation.

  • @Lexuslover123 Its got a salvage title. Really not worth it. Its had a hard life but served us well until a few thousand miles ago. It still drives soo... good enough

  • @hondaftw1234 Well, would you want to do that or get a new car? I know you just got the oddesy, so I think you should fix it, even if it is a lot of money, its better than paying for a new car, lol.

  • Also I believe at the start of the 2nd gen sienna 02-04 Toyota used the 3.3l v6 paired to a 5 speed which Iike more than toyotas 3.5.

  • @Hondaftw1234 I agree, the next gen while still great, wasn't as rock solid as this gen, and then of course theres the new sienna which plain sucks, lol.

  • @hondaftw1234 You'd have to take it to a trans shop, but yeah when your mechanic tells you the car isn't worth fixing then the best thing to do is drive it into the ground.
