Think Racing MGB at Summit Point SCCA MARRS 9 & 10 September 2010

Some brief highlights from the Labor Day double MARRS weekend at Summit Point. Sunday's race was the best with my fastest times, but the camera did not record it.

Thanks. A talented designer friend of mine did it and we had it vinyl wrapped. I wanted flames on the car, but since we didn't go that route, I figured I put them on my helmet. The color scheme matches the car.

Hey, thanks. It is not a nitrous bottle. Ha. The red bottle is the fire system and the blue one is an accusump. It is connected to the block and feeds oil to the engine during heavy braking, acceleration and cornering to maintain pressure. The windscreen can be purchased from TSI Automotive. The stock shield as you know creates a ton of drag. This one is low profile and meets the regulations. I'll check out your video.

@blackmgb ...I bought a Moroso oil accumulator for my '73 they work great. Racing looks like a lot of fun...I'd like to build a race car and give it a shot.

Wow love the vid, the car and the racing! is that a nitrous bottle and button i spy? I d love to see more of the car from the outside, i ve been thinking of ditching the windscreen on my B, and yours looks very cool without it.
