Thanks for these two videos..........I've just bought a wood stove for my home, and although I have lots of experience with "outdoor" campfires, ....I realize that I don't want to screw up a fire INSIDE.
Question: Is there another way other than the gauge on the flu pipe, for knowing when you are in a good operating temperature range?

As an old woodstove owner for 30 years i would sure move that newspaper from the floor by the stove one spark is all it needs and your house is on fire
